Why am I writing this? Well when I was thinking about buying a suitable Acai Berry product here in Australia there weren’t many real reviews around. I thought I would write one quickly to help any of you who were in the same position I was.

But please be aware, I will be going into both the good and bad points so if it’s something you might not want to hear then, then you may as well leave now.

Well I was introduced to Acai through an MLM well known Acai Berry Juice that a friend had available. She had good results but I was not keen on joining an Multi Level Marketing plan. I did not want orders turning up every month and everybody associated with the product in sales mode. Even my hairdresser was pushing it! I really wanted to do my own thing and I was pleasantly surprised when I checked out the internet.

Getting the product locally was not easy. The markets were the best option but only in the main cities. Freo market had Acai Powder but and a few capsules at high prices. My research told me that Freeze Dried Acai was definitely the way to go and you have two main options to choose from, Acai Berry Powder and Acai Berry Capsules.

A product called Acai Berry Actives caught my attention for several reasons. They had a Money Back Guarantee (beat that!) and also if I ordered enough, they offered FREE product. The delivery was to my door in Southwest WA and I noticed they were a pretty big company so that gave me a lot of confidence. They distribute within Australia but it the company is based in the US. Using FEDEX the delivery arrived 5 days after I placed it…not bad!

The order form was accurate and secure and there was also a 24 hour number to monitor your order. Acai capsules win hands down in the price comparison (less than half the price of juice!) and I found they delivered the best results. Within a few minutes I could feel more energy in my body. The kick is pretty amazing.

The first night I used the capsules I went for a walk and ended up jogging over half of the way!

Another reason I wanted to use capsules was because of a higher concentration of Acai than in Acai Juice and also a much longer shelf life. I had lost two bottles of juice in the fridge from my “little helpers” unscrewing the lid and not tightening it back up. That was $150 down the drain! Not so with Acai Berry Capsules. I keep them in a cool place high up in the pantry. They are easy to take if I am going out somewhere and on the move. They are definitely versatile and unlike Acai Berry Powder or the juice.

The negatives, well the juice tastes fantastic with a rich berry taste and a hint of chocolate. You could sit there all day! The Acai Berry Actives are after all capsules with not a lot of taste. They are not 100% Acai, but neither is the juice.  They contain Green Tea Extract and other nutrients. I am a big “smoothie” fan at breakfast time and I now use Acai Powder for this because the capsules do not break down that well.

I have used the powder, the juice and the capsules. Acai Berry Capsules win easily.

For the reasons above I now buy 6 months at a time. That includes 3 MONTHS FREE! The order costs me the price of 2 months for the juice and it gets delivered to my door, and I don’t get hassled by anyone. I have lost over 20kgs with Acai Berry Actives and now use it for health maintenance for me and my family.
